Midland is not the same cleaning environment as a subdivision on the west side of the state. The Tri-Cities corridor – Midland, Bay City, Saginaw – sits in a humidity pocket fed by Saginaw Bay. The neighborhoods around the Dow corporate campus area, through the Center District, and out into Eastlawn – those streets are lined with oaks, maples, and pines that have been growing for decades. Midland also has a lot of Victorian-era and early-twentieth-century housing stock, especially in the downtown core and the Center District.
